Altitude II

(Ground Split) Take a picture of your octopus at rest (on the ground or on top of a structure), at the highest possible altitude.

Tentaculus goes to dinner at the Top of the Hub, 52 stories above Boston. The building itself is 759 feet tall; the radio mast is 846 feet above sea level and 771 feet above the ground, suggesting the base of the tower is 75 feet above sea level. So a total height of 834 feet minus whatever the distance from the top story to the roof is.

Entering

Due to their squishability and flexibility, octopodes are very good at getting into small, hard-to-get-into places. Document your octopus in the best example of somewhere hard to get into.

While it is not small compared to, say, a breadbox, MIT is definitely hard to get into! Here, Tentaculus demonstrates that he's been accepted as an incoming freshman by registering for his Athena account (note that he is found in the class of 2012).

Defense

Some octopodes seem to think that various entries by others have not been given enough credit. Your octopus may submit a Spirited Defense of another's entry which it thinks should have been higher, and this contest will give it another chance at points.

Tentaculus must admit that Argonautia's balloon flight does not reach the same heights as those octopodes travelling in 747s. But, to see the lone octopus, brave and tiny against the vast blue sky - no steel case surrounding him, no burning jet fuel buoying him up, no pilot and flight crew to coddle him. One small octopus, slipping the surly bonds of earth, dancing in the skies, alone.

Tentaculus concedes that Argonautia's altitude is not, numerically, as great as those other entrants. But surely his spirit soars!
